NovoEd’s Aya Sakaguchi Awarded Elliott Masie 30 Under 30
NovoEd is excited to announce that Aya has been awarded a Elliott Masie 30 Under Thirty Award for 2016. The award, which is sponsored by the The Masie Learning Consortium, is given to learning leaders who are under the age of 30 and will be the next generation of leaders in the learning and development field. The goal of the 30 Under Thirty program at Learning 2016, which will be October 23-26 in Orlando, Florida is … “is to provide support, visibility, voice and development for the next generation of Learning Leaders.”
At Learning 2016, an event which brings together 3,000+ learning leaders from all over the world, Aya will help facilitate sessions and receive mentoring sessions from key speakers.
At NovoEd, Aya has been instrumental to supporting customers design and deliver training programs on NovoEd with customers including Stanford GSB, Columbia University, and University of Iowa. Notified of the award, Aya said, “I’m thrilled to be part of Learning 2016’s 30 Under Thirty Program with Elliott Masie this year. Learning and development can have significant impact on industry growth and innovation by increasing collaboration and knowledge across organizations, and I’m excited to create the next generation of learning experiences with my peers at Learning 2016.”
Aya has an EdM in Technology, Innovation, and Education from Harvard University and a BA in Government and Legal Studies and French from Bowdoin College. Aya has been involved in education and technology for much of her career helping to build connections between learning, design, and technology. During that time she has worked in academia, startups, corporations, and nonprofits.
